Features & Guide

🔒 Private & Secure

We perform all image processing locally within your browser using JavaScript. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers, making it safe for private photos and sensitive documents.

âš¡ Fast & Data Saver

Since there's no server upload time, resizing is instant even for large files. It also saves your mobile data plan as it doesn't consume bandwidth for uploads.

🎨 High Quality

We use high-quality interpolation algorithms to ensure your images stay sharp when reduced. Perfect for text-heavy slides or professional profile photos.

Recommended Settings Guide

CV / Resume / Web Profiles

Many application forms have strict size limits (e.g., 2MB) or dimension requirements.
Common dimensions are 4:3 ratio (e.g., 600x450px). Use our "CV / Resume" preset or the "Dimensions" tab to set exact values required by your specific platform.

X (Twitter), Instagram & Social Media

Modern smartphones take photos larger than 4000px, which is often too big for social media and may be aggressively compressed by the platform.
X (Twitter): For optimal display, a width of around 1200px is recommended.
Instagram: For feed posts, 1080x1080px (Square) or 1080x1350px (Portrait) provides the best quality.
Blogs: To improve page load speed (SEO), resize images to 800-1000px width and lower the JPG quality to around 80%.

Email Attachments & Documents

Large images can make PowerPoint files or Emails too heavy to send.
For screen viewing, Full HD (1920px) or HD (1280px) is more than enough. Use the "Scale (%)" tab to reduce images to 50% or less to drastically reduce file size.

"Resize" vs "Compress"

Resize changes the actual pixel dimensions (e.g., 4000x3000 to 1000x750). This significantly reduces file size.
Compress optimizes file data without changing dimensions. This tool does both: it resizes the image and applies compression when you adjust the "Quality" slider.
