How to make boxed text for XHow to

  1. Type your text

    Enter the message you want to decorate. Add line breaks to make a multi-line frame.

  2. Choose a style

    On the Generator tab, pick Spiky Frame, Vertical Shout, Inline Shout, Box, Speech Bubble, or Decorative Lines. Decorative Lines also lets you choose the line design.

  3. Check the preview and copy

    See how it looks in the X-style preview, click “Copy,” and paste it into X (Twitter), Instagram, or Discord.

The Templates tab loads common ready-made layouts into the text box. You can edit the words freely after loading one.

If the frame looks brokenTroubleshooting

Boxed text assumes every character has a predictable width. This tool measures text with a font close to the X app on iPhone (16px) and builds the frame around it, but widths change with the device, app, and font settings, so it can’t look identical everywhere. Latin letters vary in width more than Japanese characters, so English frames are a little more sensitive.

  1. Shorten each line

    Lines wider than the phone screen wrap automatically and break the frame. Split long messages into 2 or 3 lines.

  2. Use fewer spaces, emoji, and narrow symbols

    These characters vary the most in width between devices. Fewer of them means a steadier frame.

  3. Switch to a sturdier style

    Vertical Shout and Decorative Lines don’t depend on left-right alignment, so width differences barely affect them.

  4. Test it before posting

    Paste it into an X draft or a notes app to check the look before you post.

Spice it up with fancy fontsFonts

The Fancy Fonts tab turns letters and numbers into bold, script, double-struck, circled, and other styles. These aren’t downloadable font files but Unicode characters, so you can paste them straight into X, Instagram, and Discord.
