Choose a photo or pixel art background, pick a scene, and write the punch line. Add an enemy, character stats, a portrait, or a custom command menu. Everything runs in your browser, with no signup or watermark.

How to make one

  2. Choose a background or upload a photo. Try one of the joke templates.
  3. Adjust text, colors, stats, and enemy images. Add pages for a longer story.

Make it look like your game

Choose from eight window styles, including classic black, blue, pixel borders, a retro handheld palette, and sci-fi. Change the border, fill, text color, and opacity. Highlight key words with 【brackets】.

The pixel option uses the locally hosted Press Start 2P font. Serif text is available for a different mood. Photos can be pixelated or given a retro palette, scanlines, and a vignette.

PNG keeps transparency. Window-only PNG crops away the extra space. GIF and MP4 use a black background for transparent areas, with a 30-second animation limit across all pages. You can also save up to 12 PNG pages in a ZIP or one stacked image.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a photo?
No. Choose one of 13 pixel art backgrounds, or use a black, transparent, or green-screen background. Original enemies and portraits are included.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Image editing and exports run in your browser. Your photos are not sent to a server.
Can I save a transparent dialogue box?
Yes. Choose Transparent for the full canvas, or check Save windows only for a transparent PNG cropped around the windows. Set opacity to 100% for a solid window fill.
Can I share the actual image?
Use Share image on supported devices, or Copy image and paste it into a post or chat. Share link on X shares a link only.
What if my text is too long?
Text wraps and shrinks to fit. For easier reading, use a smaller text size or add pages. Dialogue windows use 90% of the image width on both desktop and mobile.
